1- New version from February 2024. Repeated string characters by Joan Vilaseca. It includes 95% of known inscriptions and simplified script for searchings
2- We have followed very strictly Untermanns judgment. As he does in the MLH, we highlighted the characters of doubtful reading (in Huertas) and left the bold for cases where the source does not reflect well the nature or other causes which are explained in the Excel file. The lines of the file correspond exactly to the lines as presented by Untermann, and we also tried to reproduce the blank spaces to have an "idea" of the characters that may be missing.
3- As for the translation of German words of MLH concerning the media of inscriptions, we almost did it verbatim. The German words and its Catalan equivalence can be found at the bottom of the Excel document. Since there can surely be discrepancies, just to mention that the correspondences are univocal (except for the word "tassa" [cup in English]) and therefore you can change everything at once on the working file for the most appropriate translation. Note that at the end of the file there are the entries NOT included in the MLH and the translation here has been typically from Spanish.
4- We recommend working with OpenOffice: it is free. However, it may be useful to continue saving the file in Excel format for its almost universal characteristic (and because OpenOffice recognizes it and not the other way around).
